In this two-day workshop composer and sound artist Nicolas Collins, reknown author of “Handmade Electronic Music: The Art of Hardware Hacking”, gives a practical introduction to the manipulation of electronic circuits and their artistic reuse. The participants can also take part in the concert of the sample&hold series at Akademie der Künste where Collins’ “Salvage (Guiyi Blues) for seven performers reanimating dead circuitry” will be performed.
